Tank Bund (Hussain Sagar) – A man-made lake of the 15th century was the main source of water supply to the city until Osman Sagar (Gandipet) & Himayat Sagar were built on Musi river.

For being world’s largest & most wonderful heart-shaped mark among ‘78 lakes and 9 islands of such marks on the face of the Earth’, this Indian heritage is declared as a World Heritage since 2012 after being named as “Heart Of The World” by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation.
